Regulation of B2B providers
Among the initiatives outlined, one highlight is the regulation of the economic chain associated with betting operators, scheduled for the third quarter of 2025. This initiative aims to encourage the national positioning of foreign companies operating within Brazil's iGaming ecosystem: a significant development for technology suppliers, platform providers, certification laboratories and other service providers currently operating in an undefined regulatory space.
Distinctive trust seal
The creation of a distinctive seal for authorised betting operators will provide greater security and convenience for bettors, making it easier to identify websites officially authorised by the Brazilian Government. This builds on the .bet.br domain initiative already underway.
National Betting System (SINAPO)
The establishment of a National Betting System will support cooperative federalism and promote a systemic national framework for the regulation of prizes and betting. This will be achieved through coordination with states and the Federal District, the dissemination of best practices, and the definition of minimum national standards.
Revised authorisation procedure
The agenda includes a revision of the authorisation procedure for betting operators, incorporating lessons from the first authorisation cycle and improving the process defined in Ordinance SPA/MF No. 827/2024.
